The
Farm Bill, including cuts to SNAP likely to reduce or terminate benefits for
close to 2 million people, is headed to the House floor. It is expected
sometime after Congress returns from the current recess - maybe late in the
week of May 7 or during the week of May 14. It is imperative that we let
Congress know that they should "Vote NO on H.R. 2!"
May 8 Call-in Day: On Tuesday,
May 8th as many people as possible should call their member of Congress and
tell them to "Vote NO on H.R. 2!"
